Leica has announced that the 35mm Summicron F2.0 ASPH and the 50mm F1.4 Summilux ASPH are now available in a black chrome finish. The focusing scale will be red. The 50mm Summilux is very similar to the distressed black paint model offered with the recent released Lenny Kravitz M-P Camera. The design, is suppose to look like a first version 50mm f/1.4 produced from 1959-1961. But with the more modern ASPH design. The 35mm Summicron with the red focusing scale also looks identical to the one in the Correspondent Set. Instead of the black lacquer finish produced for the Kravitz set, the new lenses will have a new black chrome finish. The lenses also include round metal lens shades usually only found with special edition kits. It also has metal lens caps.
The lenses are expected to start shipping at the end of April.

Leica Boutique Bergen County is pleased to announce that we have just come into possession of a very special limited edition Leica set! To commemorate 100 years of Leica photography (film to digital) Leica has begun shipping a set to include 2 spectacular camera bodies and 3 unique lenses.
The set includes:
Leica M-A – A purely mechanical film camera, the Leica M-A is a precision instrument that has been so dramatically reduced to the essentials that it opens up entirely new creative horizons for photographers. It may have no monitor, no exposure meter, and no battery, but what it does have is a mechanical quality that makes Leica’s 100 years of experience instantly tangible. Photographers can read the shutter speed and aperture directly from the camera and lens and so concentrate fully on their subject. The acoustic signature of the shutter release of a Leica M-A is a delight that immediately reveals the precision-engineered excellence of its origin.
Leica M Monochrom – The Leica M Monochrom is the world’s first digital 35 mm format camera to capture true black and white images. Fine clarity and dynamics make it the perfect tool for all who are passionate about monochrome photography. Featuring a new full-frame, 35 mm format sensor with a full native resolution of 18 megapixels, it only records true luminance values. Thus delivering true black and white photographs and enabling photographers to capture images with greater brilliance, superior sharpness, enhanced contrast, and finer resolution than that of medium format.
Leica Summilux-M 35mm f/1.4 ASPH. – This lens pairs moderate wide-angle characteristics with natural dimension, which make this focal length very versatile. Whether it is a matter of selective focus in the close-up range, high-contrast available-light applications or landscape shots with immense depth of field, this lens performs wonderfully in any situation.
Leica Summilux-M 50mm f/1.4 ASPH.- The know-how of Leica’s engineers, together with the latest developments in manufacturing technology, has resulted in this outstanding standard lens. It has a natural image angle that corresponds to a human eye view and is ideal for available-light situations, selective-focus shots, and even fine art photography – making it a top choice in assembling a Leica M-Lens outfit.
Leica Summilux-M 28mm f/1.4 ASPH.-This brand new wide angle lens currently exclusively available in this set, completes the perfect trio of lenses for any photographer searching for quality above all else.
The set comes packaged in a specifically designed Rimowa hard aluminum case and is limited to 101 pieces worldwide!
